Students will gain the knowledge required to understand the fundamentals of computer technologies, networking, security. They will gain the skills required to identify different hardware, peripherals, networking and security components. Students will understand the basic functionality of the Operating System and basic troubleshooting methodology, practice proper safety procedures. How to effectively interact with customers and peers.
Students will gain skills required to install, configure, upgrade, and maintain workstations, the Windows OS and SOHO networks. They will utilize troubleshooting techniques and tools to effectively and efficiently resolve PC, OS, and network connectivity issues and implement security in the workplace. Last but not the least, for the A+ course, the students are always given hands on training, where a computer is given to them to take it apart in a careful manner and later on to assemble it, putting it back in the same condition it was given to them.
